Saw indication on BaseNow page about dealing with Outlook.

Can you tell me how it interaacts with Outlook or point me to any dialog about it.

The program works in read-only mode. It can display Outlook folders and allow you to export data to a different database format, but it does not allow you to change data directly in Outlook. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

I did download the eval and attempted to use .pst. The software searched my harddrive but didn't find the .pst file which is there. There is nothing in the help files about using .pst files.

Have a lot of information in Outlook 2003 that I would like to control for a marketing application and yours is the first software that has even mentioned using Outlook files so I am anxious to see if it can be accomplished.

In the Data Link Properties window select the Connection tab. Select the "Use connection string" option and enter the connection string in the textbox below the option.

Provider=Microsoft.JET.OLEDB.4.0;Exchange 4.0;MAPILEVEL=Personal Folders|;PROFILE=Outlook;TABLETYPE=0;DATABASE=[TEMP]

Replace [TEMP] with the location of any folder. This is used to store temporary data.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.
