How do I select a differnt ODBC driver?

I have opened a third party database using the MS ODBC driver. Frequently when I double click a table BaseNow crashes. I assume this is because the database has a third party ODBC driver which I use when creating a DSN for other programs like Excel. Is there a way I can use this third party driver for a connection or is there likely to be another problem?

The program does not work with all ODBC drivers or OLE DB providers.

Try to select Tools/Settings from the menu and to enable the "prompt for a connection string..." option. You will be asked to provide the connection string when you press the Open button on the main toolbar. Use the examples at this web site to create a working connection string the program can use to open your database: http://www.able-consulting.com/ADO_Conn.htm
