I have a .db file that I'm trying to connect to that was done in Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere 6.  All I've been given is the .db file and I'm not sure which, if any, of the connection strings in your help system work for this.  I've tried them all and with some of them I can get connected to the database and see the tables but I don't see any data.  The error I get when I try to click on any of the tables is: "Sybase ODBC Driver Adaptive Server Anywhere Table tablename Not Found".

Any suggestions for which connection string to use and how to get past this error message?  Thank you.

I have tried that, thats why I'm posting here.  My connection string is:

Provider=MSDASQL.1;Persist Security Info=False;User ID=dba;Extended Properties="UID=dba;DatabaseFile=C:\convert\paradigm\take3\paradigm.db;EngineName=paradigm;Start=C:\Program Files\Sybase\SQL Anywhere 9\win32\dbeng9.exe  -c 10m;AutoStop=Yes;DSN=UltraLite 9.0 Sample;Integrated=No;Debug=No;DisableMultiRowFetch=No;Compress=No;Description=Adaptive Server Anywhere UltraLite Sample"

I have tried another odbc connection and when I click on tables for this one I get:

Watcom SQL rejected connection: database's page size too big

My connection properties are as follows:

Provider=MSDASQL.1;Persist Security Info=False;Data Source=Race

I am not sure why the connection is not working properly. Could you please send a sample db file to ? I will try to configure the program to use the file.

Hello,

Because the only data I have is client data I'm unable to email data.  Confidentiality agreements.  My boss said I could do a gotomypc session and have you look at what I'm doing.  Is that something we could arrange?

Thank You,

Deborah

I am afraid that connecting remotely to your computer will not work, sorry. I need to be able to reproduce the problem on my computer using the DB file you use. That is the only way I can correct the problem.
