Installing video codec
Videos in the program and in the documentation are created using TechSmith
Screen Capture Codec. You must install this codec on your computer in
order to view them.
TSCC stands for TechSmith Screen Capture Codec. It is a video encoder-decoder
that takes advantage of the unique characteristics of desktop video and
produces a superior quality movie at reasonable compression rates.
There are no charges, royalties, or licensing requirements involved
in distributing the codec.
If you installed BaseNow there is no need to download and install the
codec. It is already included in the program's installation package.
