BaseNow Agent
BaseNow Agent is a Windows NT/2000/XP service that works in the background
and automatically executes the scheduled jobs.
BaseNow Agent is an active, intelligent agent that plays an integral role
in the management of the BaseNow environment. It provides a full-function
scheduling engine and it allows you to schedule your own jobs defined
in one of various database tools
in BaseNow. BaseNow Agent is also compatible with and can also be used
as a service on Windows 95, 98 and ME operating systems.
You can schedule
an unlimited number of jobs in the BaseNow Agent, and if any of the jobs
is not successfully executed, the Agent will inform the Operator
(the person whose data you have entered) by e-mail or a net send command
over the LAN.
BaseNow Agent can record the status of every successful or unsuccessful
operation in the event log or text file, or use its internal
database which you can later review in BaseNow.
