Keyboard Shortcuts
You can use shortcut keys for quick access to frequently used commands
or operations. The topics below list the shortcut keys available in BaseNow.
You can also use access keys to move the focus to a menu, command, or
control without using the mouse.
General shortcut keys
F1
To display the BaseNow Help; context-sensitive Help
about the selected property, control, or alerts with a Help button
CTRL+N
Creates a new database
CTRL+O
Opens an existing database
CTRL+F
Shows the Find dialog box
CTRL+R
Shows the Replace dialog box
CTRL+P
Shows the Print dialog box that prints a table or
view.
F10
Closes the program
F5
Refreshes current layout and reloads data from a
database
F8
Resets the grid layout and reloads default settings
F2
Enables the Card view and displays records in a
table as cards
F3
Shows the Group By box at the top of the grid
