Saving a view

When you create or edit a view, you can save it in the database, or you can choose the option to save it as a file.

Saving a view as a file

Press the Save button on the toolbar and choose Save As to save the view. Saving a view in the file allows you to open it later in the SQL Query Builder and, optionally, save it into the database. The program saves all settings into a text file with a .sql extension.

Loading saved sql files

To load a query from a file, press the Open button on the toolbar. The program will connect to the data source and automaticaly populate the Diagram, Grid, and SQL pane.
